Question
Is there any way to tell how many miles/years i have on a 2003 chevy cavalier drivetrain warranty? Really need that info if there is a way. I have 78k on my car and i am having major engine problems. I am trying to avoid paying out the a$$ for a new engine. My car is burning oil, i either have a rod knocking, bad lifter, or valve stems are bent, and the valves are hitting the top of the piston. I turn my car on and it sounds horrible. It sounds as if there are marbles knocking in the engine. I seemed to have lost some of my power too. If anyone can help with this issue i would really appreciate it.

Answer
unless you bought extended warranty it only has a 36 month 36000 mile warranty, which you are well out of
